Workplace Health & Safety Policy.

Quality Management Policy.

Our business is committed to preventing the accidental loss of, or damage to any of its resources, including employees and physical assets.

In fulfilling this commitment to protect both people and property, management will provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, in accordance with industry standards and in compliance with legislative requirements, and will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in property damage, accidents, or personal injury/illness.

We recognise that the responsibility for health and safety are shared. All employees will be equally responsible for minimising accidents within our facilities and on our work sites. Safe work practices and job procedures will be clearly defined in the company’s Work Health and Safety System for all employees to follow.

All management activities will comply with company safety requirements as they relate to planning, operation and maintenance of facilities, worksites and equipment. All employees will perform their jobs properly in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices.

AJR Construct strives to complete construction projects to an exceptional standard of quality and maintain ISO 9001 certification standard.

Our quality management system is in place to ensure that all projects meet or exceed stakeholder’s quality expectations.

All projects are certified by the relevant local building authority or municipal council, and no work shall commence on any AJR Construct site until that certification process is complete. This process ensures that all building activity is not in contravention of any local, state or federal legislation.

  • All building works undertaken by AJR Construct are independently inspected and certified by qualified, accredited building inspection organisations and individuals.  This process ensures that any building activity completed or under construction meets relevant legislative and regulatory guidelines.

  • All AJR Construct employees are qualified for the building projects and tasks assigned to them.  Employees under training such as apprentices or casual labourers are supervised and only allocated suitable tasks.  AJR Construct does not allocate tasks to any personnel unqualified, unsuitable or unfit for that work.

  • Subcontractors engaged by AJR Construct are assessed for their qualifications, work history and suitability for the project at hand, prior to AJR Construct engaging them for work. While AJR Construct is primarily responsible for meeting any quality assurance parameters, their subcontractors are held responsible for their individual activities and finished work.

  • AJR Construct arrange for defect schedules to be prepared during and post construction.  Rectification of any defect is negotiated with relevant stakeholders.
Proposed variances to plans or fittings are negotiated with stakeholders including engineers, designers, building authorities and clients prior to any work commencing on those variances.

Quality objectives are set to monitor our performance and we are committed to the continual improvement of our quality management system to support meeting or exceeding our expectations and those of all project stakeholders.
